Sexy Zombies???

Yes. Zombies can be sexy and friendly and can speak. Atleast according to Happy Hour of the Damned (Amanda Feral #1) by

The story is about Amanda Feral, an advertising exec and party goer, That is until she is breathed on by a zombie and moments later slips in the parking lot and dies. Unknown to her she has become a zombie herself and then things get exciting. Vampires, shifters, succubi and other creatures start becoming her friends. Not only is Amanda trying to adjust to her new life and still being the party diva, there is a bad guy trying to take over the world.

This is the ultimate chick-lit about zombies you may be able to find. Some of the humor is raunchy so if that kind of stuff weirds you out then don't read it or maybe you should to open your mind. There are some gruesome parts that made me laugh. Conversations about diapers, makeup, sex, and so many other weird topics made this book enjoyable. Diapers you say? Oh you will just have to read it. *shudder*. An interesting aspect of this book is there are footnotes that appear often. These were the actual thoughts Amanda was thinking. It gives a different style I have never seen done in a fictional book I've read. Having a male author who is married with a wife that wrote such flamboyant, sexual, female characters with potty mouths some how surprised me. Not the potty mouth part. Henry made it enjoyable to read about my own sex without being a pig. He made the female characters so real. Loved this book, but only gave it:
4 out of 5 monkey brains
