Brains: Good or Bad?

More like deliciously awesome! Book review time! Of....

Brains: A Zombie Memoir

Brains: A Zombie Memoir College professor-now-zombie Jack Barnes has to deal with the understanding that he just ate his wife and is a part of the undead that surround him. He can think unlike most of the brainless brain craving figures around him. He starts recruiting other zombies that have special abilities. One can talk, another can run super fast, and one can shoot weapons. Follow Barnes on his adventure to keep is kind safe from the terrifying humans out to kill them!

I laughed quite a bit during this novel. It's so captivating! I felt for Barnes and his "people". I wanted them to survive and rooted them on. I sympathized and empathized with them, besides when they were eating people. That's when I'd snap back and go "oh right. These are zombies". I love zombie books and it was great to see a different view on the zombies vs humans. Never have read a zombie book about the zombie's viewpoint. Made the book really unique. Loved the writing in this book! Becker made it funny, adventurous, and keeping the reader rooting for the zombies that we all fear will one day eat us alive.

4 out of 5 monkey brains
