This year Zombie Diaries has had more views than ever before. Since 2009 the blog has changed a lot from its content to the look to even the viewers. One thing that we can all agree on that has not changed is we love our zombies! 
So what did we love the most in 2013? It seems cats, cartoons and animated shows, good ol' Saskatchewan (YAY), and naked super hero ladies. So a 30 something-year-old crazy cat Saskatchewan lesbian who enjoys cartoons seems to be my viewers. Love it!

Worthy Brain Cake

Cake Wrecks, "where professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong", featured the cake below when they took a look at caps on cakes. Not only is the cap floating on the forehead and the spacing is all wrong, but that zombie looks more like a victim of a vamp, or a really bored graduate having a go with ketchup.

Geekologie gave me nightmares when I saw this cake posted on the site a while back. Artisan Cake Company mastered the art of making people shit while they eat. Boo yah! 












This creation was:

 made from Rice Krispy Treats (RKT). The skin is modeling chocolate and the eye and shirt is fondant. I made the eye by painting it with food coloring.

The brain is made from a jell-o mold I got from the Halloween Store. 

I textured the skin using a simple sculpting tool and then colored the skin with a combination of oil based food color and petal dust that is typically used to color sugar flowers.

 Well way to go Elizabeth Marek for scaring us with your awesome skills.

Another slice of zombie cake anyone?

OH yummers dudes! Some kickass friend made this cake for his bud. I am very jelly people. If someone made this for me I would instantly move their status to BFFE (Best Friends Forever & Ever). (Psst my b-day is November 7).

Zombilicious cookies

Yummers!!! Cookies! And 3D! Some chicka (I assume) came up with the idea to create a zombie graveyard scene with cookies. Originally this was a kit, but she altered it to create the awesome zombie hands. Way better than the ghost that came with the kit. BOO-ring! That was lame. I know....

I kinda always thought Iron Man was a little creepy before. I don't mean Robert Downey Jr. No, he is FIIIIIINE. Yum. Break me off a piece of that man meat. Wait, where am I? Ooops. Typing my fantasies out again. I meant the armor. The armor is creepy. It already seemed lifeless and now this looks pretty creepy.
