Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse review

If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I was wanting to see this ASAP. I loved the concept of scouts being in charge of saving us because really those with some wilderness or survival background are more likely not to be dead right away when the zombies come.
I decided for my birthday to go and see this film and man it was worth the money and made for a great date movie with my man. Who doesn't like zombie nudity or strippers? If you get the chance to see this film, both sexes are represented in the nudity area. Of course T&A is more dominant when dealing with high school films.
Things I enjoyed about the film:
  • nudity
  • ridiculous situations they get in
  • the first zombie scene in the film with Blake Anderson from Workaholics
  • the character Carter and any scene with Scout Leader Rogers
  • the old lady neighbour played by Cloris Leachman

Things I didn't really like:
  • the "stripper" girl was a bad actor and I felt her role wasn't really needed
  • why do friends always outcast the "bigger" kid and have him portrayed as a big suck?
  • that I was in a theater where young pre-teen boys were with their grandparents
  • there is a weird Britney Spears singing moment that I wasn't sure what to make of
Overall, I'd see it again!

A better cake than I ever had

I know I was not the only little girl that had a type of Barbie cake like the above. Now I wish someone would have made this precious beheaded zombie cake instead. WAY cooler!

Happy 146th Birthday Canada!

Well Happy Birthday to my favorite country. Yes I am biased. I live in Canada and today is the day we celebrate the nation becoming a country.

What most of us do on this day is not have to work, enjoy the first summer holiday, and get LOADED! Be careful today. Those folks out there that resemble zombies are actually just shmammered Canadians getting sunburns and dehydration. And those BOOM noises you will hear are not cannons shooting at the masses of zombie hordes but are the sounds of glorious fireworks.

I love this country and I am happy to be Canadian. What I am more happy about is that zombies would most likely die here since we have winter 8 months of the year. And what is even better is this drawing

on DeviantArt. Best description ever.
"In honor of Canada Day the undead RCMP ride through a river of blood atop a zombified beaver."

Another slice of zombie cake anyone?

OH yummers dudes! Some kickass friend made this cake for his bud. I am very jelly people. If someone made this for me I would instantly move their status to BFFE (Best Friends Forever & Ever). (Psst my b-day is November 7).

Zombigami: Paper Folding for the Living Dead

Zombigami: Paper Folding for the Living Dead

Zombigami: Paper Folding for the Living Dead
. I tried to create Susie Gravemaker, a 2 part piece zombie, and I ended up with a botched up flat piece of crap. A paper turd! No one wants to show that off to their friends. Not even real turds would want to show that shit. None of the other pieces looked any easier. Not as much fun as I had hoped.

One year old

Well Happy Birthday to Zombie Diaries! One year ago I started this blog for a school project where I had to incorporate libraries and social media. I decided I had read enough zombie books at the time that I could write reviews and have people comment.
Well after I received my kick-ass mark and pass the class along with receiving my diploma, I decided to revamp the site and make it purely 100% zombie anything.

I have had a great time collecting zombie images and videos and sharing them with the small amount of viewers I have. It is still nice to have my friends say they go to my site and check it out. Using Facebook and Twitter as a source of sharing has increased my views. I received about 300 views a month (wooooo) and about half of those views are from outside of Canada and the States. SO thank you for showing some love and feel free to show more. I would love to see more comments flowing in. Now F@*k all this serious shat and let's celebrate (even though I don't need anymore face time with the toilet after my actual birthday).
