Monday Mention: The Queen of Zombie Hearts (White Rabbit Chronicles #3)

The Queen of Zombie Hearts (White Rabbit Chronicles #3)
by Gena Showalter (Goodreads Author)

This series is done-zo!

Now I am just trying to remember all that happened in this one. Too much really. All I know is that Cole and Ali do a lot of talking and , ahem, dry humping and it makes me gag a bit but FINALLY things ... "connect".
The gang is being attacked and 4 slayers are killed from Anima trying to attack them. The gang gets ready to attack back and Ali showcases more powers and is starting to see another Witness, one that Cole says not to trust. Ali of course doesn't listen and finds out her past has been totally not what she thought. Is this Helen Witness to be trusted? And why is Anima coming after them? Why are so many things going wrong for Ali's gang and their rival-now-allies? Can we trust anyone?

Well of course now more spies may be in the group. And on top of it all, zombies are constantly showing up around Ahnk's place. If you thought battles were just beginning, then you are in for a war!

I liked how there was more powers in this and the happy thought about zombies being saved, but so much "my softness leaned against his hardness" was used. YIKES! Also real SAD parts! Why people gotta die? Like A LOT! (BFF!) Atleast they mentioned why this novel was called by it's title, but otherwise I think it being a Wonderland reference and besides her being called Alice, it had nothing to do with the classic in any way. She sees white rabbit clouds. Whoopie.
Anyways series was still good as a whole for plot action and character development. I still enjoyed it overall.

Monday Mention: Through the Zombie Glass (White Rabbit Chronicles #2)

Through the Zombie Glass (White Rabbit Chronicles #2)

by Gena Showalter (Goodreads Author)

"Zombies stalk the night. Forget blood and brains. These monsters hunger for human souls. Sadly, they've got mine..." - Ali

First off...that cover. Someone one Goodreads was thinking that it was ugly and it resembled a little too much like White Chicks. YIKES! and lol. That is just the icing on top of this bizarre novel of weird spiritual zombies and ghosts that has nothing to do with Alice in Wonderland more and more.
So dead on

So the gang is still fighting zombies but Justin, a distrusting dude from the first book, gets bit while out on a zombie run. Within moments he starts to turn and bites Ali. Thus begins the spiral of Ali versus her evil Zombie self that is starting to emerge from within. She sees this evil Ali in her reflection; a hint to AIW.
Cole thinks there is a spy among the group, zombies are getting stronger, and teen hormones are going nuts!! And that is where I went from wanting to rate this 4 to a 3. SOO much teen lust and horrible "sexy" talk. I kept being disturbed cuz in most of the YA I read it is just more kissy stuff. This was trying to be subtle in some boob grabbing and dry humps. Yup! That happened. (I was going to insert a gif for that but....its too weird out there on the net). Plus these characters are now 17 so I had to keep that in mind when it came to all the sex talk. Cuz there was a lot. And a lot of this on my end..
Anyways, still enjoyed the plot probably better this time since I knew what to expect with the zombie spirit stuff. Will read the next one for sure. Gone this far.

Who needs pants?

It seems the UK fashion from 2010 of wearing no pants and wearing tights, or how they have cleverly called them leggings, is still on full swing and popular than ever in North America. I always get curious as to what people are wearing under these things. Answer is: NOTHING! Not even a thong to separate your bits from your pants. Anyways, these leggings now come in so many different patterns I can't help but showcase some wicked zombie mashed ones.
First up is Alice in Zombieland. My fav! These were on Beserk for $55.

Also on Beserk for same amount. These Zombie Time leggings are a great rendition of the show and its zombie episode.

Under the sea is more vicious now with zombie fish and mermaids along with the already existing killer sea creatures.
Zombie Ariel and her friends are available for $55 again.

What to Do With a Bad Book

Although I love Alice and I love zombies, the Alice in Zombieland book was verbatim but with replacements of a black rat instead of a white rabbit and everything was rotting. Anyways, this is a much better way to use this book: a purse.

Zombie Alice Tattoo

Man I wish I didn't care what I put on my body. Below are a bunch of zombified Alice in Wonderland tats. A bit creepy, a bit cute, but mostly just awesome!
