Thank you, Mario! Your quest is over.
Kody Koala enjoys making weird video game sculptures and figurines. Here we get to see Mario thanked graciously for all his hard work saving Princess Peach by Zombie Peach consuming his brains on top of a dead mushroom and some bones. Probably Luigi. Bishes be cray.

February Horror Block
As I have mentioned before, I have subscribed to Nerd Block's Horror Block and this last month was a great theme: Werewolves, Zombies, Vampires! OH M! And with a BITE to it.
Not only did the block come with a book, which will be a new thing every month, it came with 3 things related to zombies.
This little guy plushie is what a zombie virus would look like. I've got this weirdly cute guy on my book shelf close to his themed books.
The containment unit I have yet to open. It has a weird little zombie statue in it. The slime glows in the dark but I really don't want to feel the consistency of this stuff. Some poor Blocker on Instagram asked for no more slime since it opened in his box and got all over his things. GROSS!
Looking forward to March Block. Looks like it may be 2 items from The Walking Dead. BTW OMG!!!!! NOAH!!!

Frankenstein is the be all of all undead creatures, so having his bride show up on a shirt was pretty rad. I can even wear it to work!

Who turned out the light?!
As one character faded away last night on the return of The Walking Dead, we need something bright in our future to keep on hammering on. Best way to shine some light than.....
With your very own zombie hand lamp! This little gem will set you back over $100 but will be the talk when the grandparents come over and think you butchered one of their beloved friends from the senior home.

Terminus was way worse than Woodbury. Tyreese was lucky to see them both. You can now bask in the hope it gave them all with the Zombie Apocalypse lamp shade from Etsy for $81.

So how is everybody recovering this Monday? Who is feeling like our gang on TWD needs a break? I know I do from all the sorrow I am feeling still from the mid-season.

iZombie Vol. 4: Repossessed
iZombie Vol. 4: Repossessed
(iZombie #4)
by
Chris Roberson (Goodreads Author)
Once upon a time, Gwen's biggest concerns were finding a brain to snack on and worrying whether her boyfriend would find out she was a zombie. Now, with undead secret agents and monster hunters teaming up to stop a mad scientist from bringing about the end of the world, and her friends stuck right in the middle of it, Gwen has bigger problems on her hands. But can a girl help save the world without losing everything in the world she loves? - Goodreads

So the world is in chaos and it is up to Gwen to save it all. There is an Egyptian lady trying to put a giant soul in a frankenteen, Amon trying to get Gwen to absorb all souls to get rid of a giant one, and vampires, hunters, monsters , and family reunions are all getting in the way. I was confused about Amon and his wife's intentions were for having tried to kill Scott along with the brain in the coffee maker and his fellow giant zombie?? Ya I know it made me pretty confused. Everything just got so mashed together in this last one. Like did Dixie the waitress really know about monsters? They touched on it for only a page. It was confusing. But I read the creators had no choice but to hurry everything in these finale issues in this volume since they were getting canceled. So what could have been a great and drawn out series with a logical ending ended up being a lot of information and confusion thrown at the readers. Still enjoyed the zombie/sci-fi plot. Hope to find another soon!

Afterlife with Archie #4: Archibald Rex
Afterlife with Archie #4: Archibald Rex
(Afterlife With Archie #4)
by
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa,
Francesco Francavilla (Illustrator), Jack Morelli (Illustrator)
"With two more members of
our beloved gang infected by the dreadful zombie-virus, Riverdale’s one
sanctuary—Lodge Mansion—has been compromised. The kids are left to make
a significant decision—do they stay and fight or flee the only town
they’ve ever known? Meanwhile, Archie makes a horrific discovery in his
own home, one that may cost him his life!" - Goodreads
*SPOILERS BELOW*
Archie goes home to find out two of his loved ones aren't what they used to be. Undead is spreading like wild fire. And it appears Jugdead has some leader skills surfacing as he grabs the attention of all kinds of zombies in a impromptu meeting.
Legit saddest comic yet. Poor Archie! Breaks my heart what he had to do to not just his dog, but also his dad and how it was portrayed is what made it beautifully sad. And as much as I don't want to spoil it for you randoms that are reading a review of something, this is what made me cry and this is just the last panel.

TWD: Mid Season 4 Finale where Brian ruins X-mas
Last Sunday on:
I'm sure millions of Walking Dead fans were on the end of their seats cursing, crying, and left with sooo many emotions to deal with after last weeks episode. I know I sure was.
Just when everything was settling down at the prison after Carol's burning session (remind me not to cough around her), we learn that the Governor aka Brian is back, or still alive. An episode was dedicated to Brian being stranded and on his own for a long while and then he finds himself a new family to adopt and replace his wife and zombie child. Brian gets them to a new place with some old friends where he ends up killing those because he is a crazy mofo. He then decides it is time to visit some old pals at the prison. This is where the mid season finale comes in.
Since One-Eyed Bri can't have any thing nice or share with others, he gathers his new friends to go after Rick and the prison. He captures Michonne and Santa...er, Hershel, tells Rick to leave the prison, or no one will get to have it. See? Can't play nice.
Well poor Rick tries to work things out but no good enough for Brian and his tank. That is when the guts start flying.
Not only did we lose Santa and the prison, but Brian got punched, stabbed, and then shot. His girlfriend does that after Brian's replacement daughter is bitten. She is better off dead than with a father figure like the Govna.
Too much was lost this episode. Beth and Maggie lose their father and are separated, same with Maggie and Glen, little girls are shooting people more than Carl, the prison is wrecked and infected, and Little Ass Kicker is missing or dead!
While most rejoiced at the death of the asshole Govna, most were shocked and sad for the death of one of the last people with great human morale, kindness, and wisdom. RIP Hershel.
And to conclude this, we have to wait 2 months till we find out what has happened to our prison folk and are left with a pit in our stomach. Christmas will be tough this year to get through, but we can do it. Don't look back.

Organ Trail
Remember that game you just couldn't wait to play in computer class as a kid? The one where you always died of dysentery and never knew if you should caulk the wagon or take your chances at drowning? Or you didn't even know what caulk meant? Oregon Trail was a great Apple II game. And if you want to relive those great times with a bit more zombies included then play ORGAN TRAIL! I did and died instantly from low supplies. This retro game lets you drive in your station wagon through the States where hordes of zombies, nature, and bandits are all a threat. You and four of your friends must survive them all. Will you die from dysentery, dehydration, low medical supplies, or one of your friends being infected? Available on Steam.

Dora the Exterminatrice
As if Dora wasn't already scary enough being a bilingual, independent little girl exploring the world around her alone without adults and functioning better than most people, but here we see artist Michel Achard bring her to the undead life killing her showing off other skills most adults don't have. Seems her monkey friend Boots didn't get to sing the "We did it!" song after Dora completed her first killing challenge.
