One of these things is JUST like the others

Zombie Blondes

Zombie Blondes

From the moment Hannah Sanders arrived in town, she felt there was something wrong.
A lot of houses were for sale, and the town seemed infected by an unearthly quiet. And then, on Hannah’s first day of classes, she ran into a group of cheerleaders—the most popular girls in school.
The odd thing was that they were nearly identical in appearance: blonde, beautiful, and deathly pale.
But Hannah wants desperately to fit in—regardless of what her friend Lukas is telling her: If she doesn’t watch her back, she’s going to be blonde and popular and dead—just like all the other zombies in this town. . . (from back cover)
I wasn't expecting this book to go as it did. It was very sneaky at the whole zombie aspect. It doesn't straight up tell you who the zombies are or if there really is any. Instead you think these blond bitches are just whacked and are really into being a clique. I think that's what kept this book more like a mystery than a horror slash typical zombie raid. I couldn't put it down because of the suspense and what was going to happen between Hannah and Lukas. I have to admit the ending was both surprising and disappointing which sounds like a total oxymoron. But it was! I can't give away spoilers but I didn't think something like THAT would happen and then nothing did happen. It was just over. Like this.
