Zombigami: Paper Folding for the Living Dead
by
Duy Nguyen
Supposedly this title is suitable
for children aged 8 years and up. People can create 13 ghoulish origami zombies. "Easy" to follow,
step-by-step instructions show you how to fold "simple" origami paper into unrecognizable creatures. Book includes a "crew of
the undead includes Starvin' Marvin who hungers for a sip of fresh
blood; Idle Hands, whose hands are no longer attached to his body and
Suzie Gravemaker, everyone's favourite zombie mum!"
Ya, I'm not being sarcastic at all when I said this shit was SO EASY....... Unless you already dabble in origami this book may be okay, but
for a beginner like me I was so confused. So screw the 8 years and up. I even read the beginning that
showed the legend of the icons and the basic folds. All it looked like was a bunch of lines and arrows that did not
help me create anything remotely close to what the book showed. Ruined
my birthday! For realsies, it almost did. I tried to create Susie Gravemaker, a 2
part piece zombie, and I ended up with a botched up flat piece of crap. A paper turd! No one wants to show that off to their friends. Not even real turds would want to show that shit.
None of the other pieces looked any easier. Not as much fun as I had
hoped.
