The Brain Eater's Bible: Sound Advice for the Newly Reanimated Zombie
Just became undead? Skin is all gruesome, craving brains and flesh, can't remember what just happened to you? Ya, you is dead. Just like J.D. McGhoul, you can read and understand bits of your world around you. "Welcome to the PACE virus apocalypse."
This was not bad. I think it should have
been called a journal or guide instead of bible since it contains both
information and journal entries. I enjoyed the PofV being a zombie named
J.D. McGhoul. He made up the last name but found someone who called him
by his first name. I appreciate books from the zombies view point. Makes a person think from a different perspective in general life. The book's author information is about McGhoul instead of the actual author. I liked
that. It gave the book authenticity. The book contains great photos, both self-portrait of McGhoul and reference
based. The "guy" even has a Facebook account:

There was an idea that some zombies have thinking capabilities
and can change. For example, they become stronger by lifting more weights. It also indicated that if a zombie ate over 100 brains it would change
certain abilities. This is where the cool meter drops. Didn't exactly enjoy that bit. I didn't like that
zombies can gain patience or learn for that matter. I did like the
explanations of how the virus spread and infected people and worked in
each victim. This is something zombie books some times ignore.
One chapter is dedicated to tasty brain parts; This was too
detailed and real for me. Felt kind of icky. Warning: don't read that
chapter while eating or have a weak stomach. *gag*
