Not much to explain with this comic, besides it being a pretty sweet combo!! Modern Archie with zombies?? Brilliant!! Imagine all your Archie characters just doing their usual high school activities but mashed in there are the undead wreaking havoc in Riverdale and cameos from characters like Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
So in this first issue Jughead's dog dies and he asks Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, to help.
Her creepy aunts say not to resurrect it but dumb girl does it anyways and is punished. Turns out dogs can become zombies too and poor Jughead morphs into Jugdead.
Betty and Veronica are still annoyingly after Archie. Bleck! The artwork is pretty wicked in this comic with its simple sketchy stylized portrayals of the classic gang and very selective colors give this comic an eeriness of classic horror.
