Told from a female
zombie’s perspective, this detective/romance/fantasy zombie comic tells the life of zombie Gwen, a gravedigger, who eats the brains of the ones she buries. Once a month she must consume a brain in order to prevent from turning into a mindless walking corpse but along with consuming the brains she also receives their memories and personality. With these she must complete their last wish before they can move on. It is up to Gwen to solve the wishes along with her friends Spot, a Were-Terrier and Ellie, a 60's ghost.
The first couple of pages I was confused at what I was to be reading since it dived right into something monstrous going on and didn't hide supernatural characters. Then it began to explain everyone's story: the were-terrier, the ghost, and how Gwen, a zombie, has to do from becoming a mindless, shambling monster. There are also vampires and something all creatures are afraid of: hunters. Too bad they aren't like these hunters below.
