Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfull Ever After by Steve Hockensmith, Jane Austen
Four years after the end of PPZ, we meet up with Darcy and Elizabeth encountering some marital troubles. She feels restrained in her marriage since a Gentleman's wife is to be a Lady, not a skull crushing, zombie killing warrior. Also she is not too sure she wants to have children like her sister Lydia. It's whilst the couple debates the subject one day that they become distracted and the worst happens: Darcy is bitten by a Dreadful, and Elizabeth's world begins to come crashing down. Dun dun dun...The correct course of action is to cut off his head and burn his body to be safe but she learns of a miracle antidote being developed in London. Maybe they will live happily ever after?

I just loved how this book flowed so well with the other PPZ books. It brought elements from the first book and of course followed the story line of the original PPZ. It was great to get to know each Bennet girl/lady instead of just Lizzy (Elizabeth). I just LOVE how this series mashes up zombie killers, creatures of the undead, "proper" English society, adventure, and love stories.
