Sticking to the classic mash-ups here. One classic tale everyone should be familiar with is Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. What people might not know is the zombie version of this nonsense tale!
Alice in Zombieland by Nickolas Cook, Lewis Carroll
Instead of following the White Rabbit, Alice follows the Black Rat down into a grave hole. Next thing she knows she falls into an undead nightmare where creatures are walking rotting zombies. Not only does Alice want to get out of there out of fear, she also needs to since her flesh is rotting and her hair is falling out! Will Alice escape without munching on some critters at the Tea Party? And will she leave before the Dead Red Queen finds her?
I know most people love the Disney version of this tale. Alice with her golden locks and her beautiful blue dress. I bet this picture below might give you a different thought on how beautiful her gown is when it is covered in blood.

Now I have read a few mash-ups of classic, as you can tell from this blog. Most were of ones that made the original more exciting or with a different twist to the ending or characters. This falls in the latter, but since I read the original Alice earlier this year, this copy felt like a complete reread. Only difference was a few changed words and some dead characters. I was still curious while reading, wondering where things were going to be changed. I still love Alice's adventures, but this was just some author copying exact word for word with a few tweaks here and there. Boo-urns!
